| Pinnacle would be the longest scramble of the trip. To reach Pinnacle we needed to go east to Saska Pass at 7500 feet, drop down to cross Snow Brushy Creek at 3800 feet, and climb back up to Borealis Pass at 7600 feet, and then go up the south ridge of Pinnacle to is 8402 summit. Gopher was a bonus summit for the return trip, following a ridge south from Saska Pass to its 8001-foot summit. |
