We had lost half our fuel due to a leak, so we decided to cook dinners over the fire.
Branches that have been rain-soaked for days are very hard to light. We finally got the fire going by building a frame of branches and feeding it fir needles until the branches dried out enough to burn.
My poor, faithful pot was utterly blackened. |
